- 1 1/2 sticks of softened butter
- 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract

Directions for Making the Cookies
The first thing you will want to do is preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line two baking sheets with parchment paper. You will then take a large mixing bowl and whisk the flour, baking powder, and salt together.
